Winter Arc helps you track habits and goals. It is not medical advice and does not replace a doctor, dietitian, physiotherapist or mental health professional.
Before you start
- Talk to a qualified professional before starting a new exercise programme, diet, fast or weight-loss goal, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or take medication.
- Cold exposure (cold showers, ice baths, open-water swimming) can be dangerous, particularly with heart or blood-pressure conditions. Start gently and never alone in open water.
- Sleep, mood and weight tracking are for your own reflection, not diagnosis.
Listen to your body
Stop and get advice if you feel pain, dizziness or chest discomfort. Rest days are part of the arc, and the app has streak freezes for a reason.
If you're struggling
If tracking food, weight or exercise starts to feel harmful, take a break and talk to someone. In the UK you can contact your GP, call NHS 111, or call Samaritans free on 116 123 at any time. In an emergency call 999. Outside the UK, contact your local services.
